Floor Nominations for Lay Representative to Executive Council are Open!

The Executive Committee of Province 1 is inviting floor nominations for the position of Province 1 Lay Representative to the Executive Council of General Convention. Floor nominations must be presented by Friday May 27 at 3 p.m. by completing this form. Additionally, floor nominees must submit the completed nomination materials from this document, along with review by their Diocesan Bishop and a member of their Provincial Conference delegation, to Province 1 Coordinator Will Harron at coordinator@province.1org by June 6, 2022 at 3 p.m.

This is a two-step nomination process to conform to the canonically-mandated background check required of Executive Council members. Any nominees whose application materials and review, including completed background check, have not been received by the Provincial Coordinator by 3 p.m. on June 6, 2022, will not be presented as a candidate for election.

Floor nominees, in addition to nominees solicited through our regular nomination process announced in February, will be presented to the Provincial Conference on June 7 in advance of the Conference's June 8 business session and election.
